FAQ: COMMON CLIENT QUESTIONS
Why does Nexodus use project-based retainers instead of hourly billing?
This structure allows Nexodus to provide strategic recommendations and consulting while still completing the execution. It also gives clients predictable costs, faster project timelines, and clearer expectations.
What if I need something outside of my package?
Any work outside of your existing Statement of Work can be added as a mini project, added as an upgraded retainer, or included in a revised Statement of Work.
What if a system error occurs during my project?
If a system error occurs due to a technology outage, the time spent working around the issue is included in your retainer. If the system error is caused by a lack of training or an error on the client side, Nexodus will recommend a mini project or a training session that can be added to the Statement of Work.
How are invoices and payments handled?
Invoices are sent 10 days before the first of the month. Payment is due on the first. Invoices are late after 5 days and may result in a 10% late fee. Work may pause after 10 days of non payment.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations or plan changes must be communicated 15 days before the first of the month to allow for billing and staffing updates.
What is the autopay credit?
Clients who enroll in autopay receive a 10% credit after their first successful autopay payment. The credit appears on the following invoice. For example, the Growth Package becomes $2,700 per month instead of $3,000.
Is there a fee for paused accounts? Why?
If an account has no active projects, a $20 monthly Portal and Technology Access Fee applies. This fee is waived when a project is active.
Keeping your portal access active ensures you and your team can maintain access to files and past projects, while continuing to allow access to use the portal to manage future projects amongst your internal team.
